reflection

We just finished our section for observing new ideas, and we got our inspiration. Our group started working on the play and the arrangement. On Friday, we tried out the staging and what the actors want to do, there might not have been a lot of progress but we all got inspired, even as a tech, I got more ideas on how I want the lightings to work. It is very important because we don't have any lines, so I need to use lightings to tell the story. We missed Ruth for two classes, but the rest of the group has come up with more ideas so that's pretty good, and we've written down a lot of ideas and even started making a table as a script. I, Chloe, and Pac were testing some scenes on Friday, and we found out a lot of disadvantages for the script, and especially because Ruth wasn't here, it's hard for us to test out all the scenes. They write down the motion or the staging, and on the side, I write down the change of lighting, so when Ruth gets back, it'll be easy for her to see. I would say we made a lot of progress, but I believe that there is still room for improvement.

I don't know what other things I should be writing, as a tech, my mind drifts off easily thinking about how the lightings should do and miss a few words. But I've already come up with a big picture of how the lightings should work, and that's progress. The only disadvantage is that I can't try the lightings out so my only limit is my imagination.
We had some change on the characters, now Joyce is the human, Ruth is the good, and Pac is the evil. This change is very interesting because Ruth has really good acting skills, and she is a very good leader so she contributed a lot. As a tech, I've picked a few songs and edited a little bit, now all I have to worry about is the lighting.
